During container transport, whether by ship or aeroplane, temperature swings related to day/night or altitude differences can trigger so-called container rain, a perpetual cycle of moisture evaporation-condensation-precipitation, which leads to various types of damage to the goods in the container.

To quickly reduce the moisture load and avoid triggering container rain, DESERT has developed two specific products: Desert Gel and Container MIX.

To guarantee the operational success of our container protection products, we recall the essential importance of perfectly closing and sealing the container ventilation holes. This keeps new humid air from entering the container, which would thereby cancel the effect of these products.
